About Collins Freight Services
Collins Freight Services was built with a simple goal: to give owner-operators and small motor carriers reliable dispatch support without taking control away from the people actually running the trucks.
We understand that operating a truck involves far more than simply picking up and delivering freight. Drivers and carriers have to think about rates, deadhead, fuel costs, appointment times, hours of service, broker requirements, home time, reload opportunities, and what the next market looks like after delivery. Our job is to help manage those details so carriers can spend less time searching for freight and more time focused on operating their business.
Collins Freight Services provides independent dispatch support for authorized motor carriers. Services may include load searching, rate negotiation, broker setup assistance, rate confirmation review, pickup and delivery coordination, reload planning, and follow-up on detention and other accessorials.
Every carrier maintains control of their operation. We do not force loads, and we do not make decisions on behalf of a carrier without approval. Each load is presented to the carrier for review before it is accepted.
Our approach is built around communication, transparency, and long-term relationships. We want carriers to understand the numbers behind every load—not just the advertised rate. That means considering deadhead, total miles, fuel, time, destination market, and how each load fits into the carrier’s overall week.
